The structure was designed for siesmic zone 4, actually during construction an earthquake on April 22, 2019: A magnitude 6.1 earthquake occurred 64 km northwest of Manila. This quake was particularly impactful in the region, causing significant damage and casualties around the surrounding areas but this structure, which was not finished at the time (main frame only) showed no signs of cracks or damages to the skeletal frame.
