Project Background
In this project we were supposed to design a steel canopy for a fuel station of size 70'x30'+60'x60'. Project was located in Gilgit area. Which is a hilly area with heavy snow fall and heavy winds. We had to consdider all the weather conditions including snow load, wind load etc. For the structure analysis and design we used SAP2000 as well as Idea Statica for steel connection design.
