Project Background
The project was to be implemented on a very low budget, so it was designed in incremental steps to accommodate the budget. The idea of the project was to develop and preserve an encroached wetland marsh and to stop further encroachments happening in the future meanwhile introducing new building techniques to the context
This design is detailed in ways to grow through the wetland marsh and eventually turn into a mass development project which would bring economic, sociological, and environmental benefits to the city and would eventually, strengthen the wetland belt around the rapidly urbanizing city.
Exterior Renderings
This project is an attempt to regenerate and preserve the wetland belt around the densely urbanized city of Colombo.
