Project Background
The project involves designing a bank headquarters in Lome. The site is located along a major coastal road linking Lome to Accra (Ghana) and Cotonou (Benin).
The geometric forms used to underpin the project's philosophy are the square and the circle.
The architectural composition of the facades (designed as glass curtain walls) takes its inspiration from the waves of the sea: a major element in the locality. The system of protective facades echoes the rhythm of the sea waves.
