Project Background

A 13-year-old teenager requested a bedroom that reflects her active and creative personality. She wanted a functional loft bed to save space, as well as a cozy environment in her favorite colors: blue, white, and yellow. Being passionate about volleyball and dance, the design also needed to accommodate her hobbies. She is an avid reader, enjoys collecting personal items, and wanted shelves for display. The room also had to include a hangout area where her friends could visit and relax.
Project Concept
The moodboard features elements inspired by volleyball, a display for her volleyball collection. It highlights a yellow sofa, a color that brings her joy, while incorporating textures like fluted panels to add visual interest. The design emphasizes both style and functionality, creating a vibrant and personalized space that reflects her passions and personality.

Interior Renderings
The room will feature a Wall of Fame to showcase her certifications, a dedicated volleyball corner for her gear, a shelf for her cherished collection, and space for her existing piano. This design not only highlights her achievements and interests but also creates a personalized and functional space for her hobbies and passions.
The loft bed incorporates a dedicated study area underneath, maximizing space while providing a cozy spot for homework and projects. Additionally, it includes a modular sofa for her friends to hang out, along with charging stations for her gadgets. This design not only enhances functionality but also offers extra storage space, making the room both stylish and practical.
The study area features a round shelf designed specifically for storing her collection of crochet plushies, reflecting her interest in crafting. This thoughtful design element not only keeps her workspace organized but also adds a personal touch to the room.
The top of the loft bed features a simple ledge for added functionality and includes a charging station for gadgets above. The design incorporates a Chanel tufted panel for a stylish touch, while the starlit ceiling and rope feature will not be included, keeping the overall aesthetic simple and elegant.
