Borrowed the thickness of 190 cm on the left hand side of the entrance door to make a thin shoe cabinet, and the interior was customized with a sloping partition to achieve shoe storage. There is no obstruction after entering the house, and the living room is visually broadened.

The shoe cabinet has been hollowed out in two places, which is convenient for entering the door to place small items such as keys, and does not make the whole high cabinet at the door too depressing. The high cabinet on the far right deliberately divides a reasonable height, and reserves an outlet for storing debris and a Dyson vacuum cleaner, which can be charged when the vacuum cleaner is stored here.

The floor of the guest house wall is uniformly materialed, the ceiling is directly flattened, the design of no main lamp is adopted, and the balcony is opened, and the boundaries of the space are blurred, which improves the sense of space and permeability.

The door of the master bedroom adopts the form of an invisible door, and the TV cabinet extends all the way to the dining room, which not only forms a complete and atmospheric TV background wall, but more importantly, harvests a storage corridor of more than 7 meters.

The aisle leading to the kitchen is also decorated with door panels consistent with the cabinet doors, making the first vision of the entrance more harmonious and unified. The form of open cabinets and light strips makes the whole background wall more layered and breathable.

The lighting adopts the design of no main lamp, and combines various forms of lamps and lanterns such as magnetic absorbing lamps, embedded downlights, hidden light strips, etc., which not only realizes the visual simplicity and beauty, but also better sets off the overall sense of atmosphere. Because the overall tone is dark and cold, the lamps and lanterns have chosen a relatively warm 3000k light source.

On one side of the balcony is the man's study, and on the other side is the washing area. Because I think the traditional drying rack is not beautiful enough, and the demand for drying clothes is not so much, only a hidden clothesline (the small black box on the wall above the green plant) is reserved, and it can be pulled out when needed.

There are also many kinds of kitchen appliances, so the size and storage requirements of the kitchen are very high. After we moved the sub-bathroom, the kitchen was about 19 square meters, and when we broadcast live, the kitchen was full of four people standing at the same time.

Project Background

This is a set of three-bedroom, two-hall and two-bathroom second-hand house transformation, because of many load-bearing walls, the apartment type restrictions are relatively large. However, the original apartment type has many drawbacks, and three generations of five people live, which has high requirements for storage space.
