Project Background
Legend has it that the name of Mulanxi is related to Zheng Lu, the sage of the Tang Dynasty who "opened Pulai to learn". Zheng Lu was called to serve, and the villagers saw him off by the stream at the foot of Mulan Mountain, collected his favorite magnolia petals, and sprinkled them on the bow and waterway. The local people are grateful for the contribution of the three Zheng brothers to the civilization and development of Putian, so they call this stream "Mulan Stream".
