Spending 600,000 yuan to renovate a 50-square-meter home is "unbelievable" to many people, but it is a small reward from the owner to himself.
The owner is an 87-year-old man who lives alone. The original intention of decorating this house is to create a completely relaxing "happy single dormitory" for himself, with a lazy sofa, a large-size TV, a tatami mat for lying down, and a comfortable single-person bathtub. ......Draw out the ideal life of the owner: looking for a weekend afternoon,

Due to the consideration of the space utilization rate of the small apartment, the entrance and the restaurant space are shared, and the door is directly facing the guest restaurant, and the small apartment does not feel cramped at all.
The curved ceiling of the public area weakens the rigidity at the corners, and the polishing of the details makes the home more elegant and advanced. The paved wooden floor reconciles the cool feeling of the white walls, combined with the warm light introduced by the bay window, the comfort overflows the space.
In living alone, the TV is an indispensable element in the home. After get off work, I turn on the TV and listen to the lively sound on the screen, and the feeling of loneliness is swept away.
The warm brown single sofa is enough for the owner to relax and "lie down". Without the strong sense of ritual of the large sofa, the home itself should be a place of freedom.
The design of the public area revolves around the large dining table. Although the on-site customized dining table is expensive, it surprises the owner both in terms of aesthetics and function. After returning home, there is more than enough space for dining, reading, and using computers.
On one side of the dining table, it is supported by textured slate, and the top is in the shape of a flowerpot. A few green plants are planted, and the natural atmosphere slowly spreads in the restaurant. There is an open compartment on one side, put a few books and magazines, and put them at your fingertips, making reading easier.
The kitchen is a semi-open design, which expands the visual scale of the space and establishes a subtle link and interaction between the public areas.
The master bedroom is a more private rest space, with gray and white color matching, which is simple yet calm and advanced. The soft-packed material makes a half wall instead of the bedside, saving space and echoing the overall simple atmosphere of the bedroom.
The dry area of the bathroom is independent, which is not only a daily washing space, but also provides convenience for washing hands and disinfecting before meals after returning home, which is in line with the lifestyle under the epidemic.
