Project Background
The original unit type in this case was a two-bedroom house, which was changed to a three-bedroom structure by the original owner. The current owner and his wife live together and have no children for the time being. It is hoped to change the two-bedroom into a 2+1 mode, keep two bedrooms, and add a variable study that can double as a guest bedroom. The owner pays attention to the color matching and the renovation of the courtyard.

The oval-shaped mirror on the side of the shoe cabinet is convenient for going out to organize the image. Through the mirror, you can see the end view of the balcony and courtyard entering the house, a dramatic visual effect. Entering the house from the courtyard is an indispensable sense of homecoming ritual.
The sofa background wall is made of log-colored wood veneer and retro red latex paint. Different materials are used for color separation, and the cooperation of light strips makes the space facade more layered and varied.
The wall of the original TV background is very short and does not match the proportion of the sofa area. We use the method of built-in steel frames to design cantilevered cabinets to extend the TV background wall. The upper and lower parts are treated with perspective to increase the design sense of the TV background. , It also maximizes the storage function of the living room.
The whole surface of the TV cabinet adopts a handle-free design, the TV is embedded, and the black cabinet board is used as the background to realize the effect of hiding the TV. A gap of 5 cm is reserved around the TV, and the LCD surface is flush with the door panel, making the vision clean and modern.
In the living room space, the wood color and red collide, the red is warm, the wood color is quiet, and there is a sense of harmony between the movement and stillness.
The balcony next to the living room was changed into the entrance hall of the courtyard after the adjustment of the door opening. The overall design and color matching are unified with the living room.
On the top of the balcony is a hidden lifting drying rack with linear lighting, which is beautiful, minimalist and practical. Because it is hidden in the ceiling, it needs to be purchased and pre-embedded in advance before the carpenter enters the site.
A cloakroom is designed on the right hand side of the entrance, with a depth of 550mm. Considering that it is too heavy to be made as a whole floor cabinet, we suspended the cloakroom and divided it into two blocks on the left and right. The middle is connected by a black cabinet board. The recess is 25 cm, and the bottom opening is equipped with a light strip to ensure storage while increasing the sense of design and reducing the sense of volume of the wardrobe.
In the aisle connecting the living room and the dining room, a row of decorative storage cabinets are designed on the facade, which combines function and aesthetics. It has a smart alcove shape and an open grid with a grille background, which ensures storage while also integrating Functional aesthetics.
The entry shoe cabinet designed with the help of wall thickness, the handle-free cabinet door design, and the functional aesthetics of opening and closing have always been our research topics. Customized cabinets, while ensuring sufficient storage, need to retain a certain sense of design display space, so that storage can also become the decorative protagonist of the space.
Looking from the dining room to the living room, it is a highly designed entry cloakroom. The basic functions are indispensable for putting bags, hanging clothes, and changing shoes when entering the door. A good design is to make the home more comfortable to live in, and at the same time to meet the spiritual needs of the homeowner, and to achieve the mutual integration of function and aesthetics.
The essence of design is to solve the problem, to solve the problem of people living in the house, the real needs of the owner for the dining room and the study room and the guest bedroom, let us rethink and design the space, and deal with the flexibility of the space by hiding the folding sliding door To meet the personalized needs of the owners.
The color separation design of the ground and the top surface runs through the living room and dining room. The background of the dining table also uses two color blocks to treat the facade. The left side is latex paint, and the right side is a paint board. Behind the paint board is the hanging rail between the dining room and the study. Door. The folding sliding door is perfectly hidden in the facade background, making the functional cabinet a good part of the space background.
The minimalist slate dining table is paired with a brown leather single chair, and Changhong glass is used as the background, and the space is instantly full of modern atmosphere.
The owner's love for retro is self-evident. The red wall tiles in the bathroom echo the background of the living room, adding a strong sense of individual beauty to the bathroom, with a touch of magic. The suspended bathroom cabinet + above-counter basin design reduces the facade volume of the space and makes the visual space of the bathroom more open.
For the original 3.1-meter storey height, we designed a 2.7-meter full-height cabinet to ensure sufficient storage space. After the suspended ceiling in the bedroom, there is still a height of 2.85 meters in the room, which makes the facade of the background wall look too high, so we cut the facade horizontally, separate the colors from top to bottom, continue the wood veneer background of the living room, and match it with salmon pink latex paint. The space is warm and romantic.
The wood veneer dado-style background with light strips and high-grade pink instantly enhances the visual level of the space.
A retro and simple leisure chair, together with a personalized tea table and floor lamp, can easily create a reading corner in the study room, for leisure and entertainment, reading and drinking tea, and you can feel at ease.
The sketches in the yard are exquisite and beautiful. All kinds of rare plants bloom in different styles in different seasons. There are bright spots in day and night, making the changes of spring, summer, autumn and winter become the scenery of going home every day.
The stairs from the courtyard to the house are changed from the front of the balcony to the side, which makes good use of the space in the side corner, and at the same time makes the courtyard more square and easier to design and handle.
A small pond is designed in a corner of the yard. The stones piled up in the pond are built by the male owner over and over again. The lotus is also planted by himself. The love for the small courtyard is engraved into the bone marrow. Every flower, every grass, every stone and every tree are all emotions. .
