Project Background
the project is a rustic cottage made with locally available material to give it traditional look.
In the bathroom wall and entire floors we used yellow oxide and cement to give it a smooth natural finish.
We chose to give this an african look as it is an Airbnb since the target clients were mostly non-locals. this was to help guests experience the culture and feel part of it.
The main door is an farm house two piece door to take the guests back in time with artifacts and rustic traditional furniture.
The client wanted the traditional grass thatched look to be in harmony with the interior to give it a one of a kind unique look. The outside walls are made from special clay that turns orange when mixed with water.
