Project Background
The lobby space is solemn and rustic in tone
The black Buddha bead shaped screen showcases Zen philosophy
Project Concept
Amidst the towering tree shadows, Angkor temples are dotted with monks dressed in orange robes, and the dark gray volcanic rocks define the tone and texture of the entire lobby space. The deep orange red color of the robe is embellished in different ways, and the refined Angkor columnar screen is used to aggregate and organize the space, establishing the relationship between the lobby, entrance, and inner courtyard in a moderately open and closed spatial form, while constructing a moderate sense
Project Highlights
The black Buddha bead shaped screen showcases the Zen spirit of the lobby bar, which is mainly in ancient color, with black and white and wood textures interspersed. During the period, it is decorated with red, symbolizing the Cambodian nation, giving people a mysterious expectation before moving in.
Floor Plan
The initial demand for design was to engage in a dialogue between tradition and modernity.
Intervention from one's own perspective, capture the local spiritual light, gather some memory fragments of traveling to Cambodia over the years, and translate them into the impression of the initial space of the Crown Prince Hotel.
Interior Renderings
Using modern style and techniques, we extract the solemn, Zen like, and romantic atmosphere of Southeast Asia, and re create it into every space of the hotel, creating an open, elegant, and culturally rich modern Southeast Asian hotel image, continuing the "cotton smile" on the rock walls of Angkor Wat.
