Regenerative Agriculture is all about protecting and enhancing our precious topsoil by regenerating five key landscape functions. These include the solar energy function, the water cycle function, the soil-mineral cycle, dynamic ecosystems and the human - social function.
Light makes colors and textures come alive in landscape design. One good landscape design idea: Place trees and shrubs with colored foliage along an east-west line so they can benefit from the backlighting of a rising or setting sun.
A cultural landscape is a place with many layers of history that evolves through design and use over time. A cultural landscape embodies the associations and uses that evoke a sense of history for a specific place.
Some types of landscapes include deserts, forests, and rivers. Additionally, some human landscapes entail cities and farms. Natural landscapes mean that no human activity has been undertaken in the area, while cultural landscapes initiate that human activities have been performed in the area.
