Project Background
This project involves the construction of a residential home for Mr. Yam Bahadur Roka Chettri, situated in Palungtar-2, Gorkha. The site offers ample open space. The proposed building is a single-story structure utilizing load-bearing construction technology, with a design encompassing 9,067.67 square feet. Construction is currently in progress.
Exterior Renderings
The facade treatment incorporates elements from the client's previous residence, including the original facade struts and repurposed roofing material for the outdoor floor finish. The 3D modeling was done using SketchUp, and the rendering was completed with Lumion 11 using its existing presets.
Floor Plan
The floor plan features a 3 BHK layout, ensuring ample lighting in each room. In consideration of the Terai region's cultural preference for outdoor living, the design includes generous outdoor spaces to accommodate this lifestyle.
Elevation Plan
The northern elevation is particularly striking. In line with the client's request for a traditional aesthetic, the design features arched windows and incorporates existing elements from the original structure, such as facade struts.
Section Plan
The roofing employs a metal structure, offering a clear span of 12 feet 10 inches.
