Project Background
How can an architectural and urban project be designed to promote entrepreneurship in Algeria by creating an ecosystem conducive to innovation, collaboration, and business growth, while also helping to stimulate the country's economy? Digital Innovation Business House: What is a Business House? It is a structure that offers a support program to create, develop, or accelerate a startup.
Concept: Interactivity: Interactivity is defined as the ability of a communication system to respond. Our concept is our starting point, which consists of designing a building that addresses our problem with the objective of creating a balance between existing walls, filling the void and the gap between different scales of the studied area, and extruding volumes and interactive spaces with natural elements (daylight).
Idea for Space Distribution: The spatial distribution within the facility is based on a scenario that begins with conference, exhibition, and sales spaces, all integrated into the theme 'IDEA TESTING.' This theme is dedicated to the public at the urban scale. Then, in the second phase of the scenario, the transition from the startup phase and the generation of innovative project ideas to contract signing is facilitated through coworking spaces, fab labs, a media library, and relaxation areas.
The space distribution follows a central organization concept, with mezzanines facilitating vertical circulation across levels. This design ensures smooth access to a linear horizontal flow, enhancing connectivity and movement. The layout promotes interaction and seamless navigation, creating a dynamic and efficient environment that encourages social engagement and accessibility while maintaining architectural harmony.
