Project Background
The project is located in Ngong Hills of Nairobi, Kenya. It's a serene environment with trees, surrounded by greenery hills while the environ boasts of fresh air, making the place ideal for such a project. The house project will sit on a half an acre piece of land, right next to a tarmac road. The client opted to go for a simple yet modern house design with large openings. It's a 3 bedroomed "all ensuite" house, consisting of a lounge, dining area, kitchen, laundry & swimming pool areas.
Materials & Processing Technology
Masonry wall & reinforced concrete for building structure. Ceramic floor & Wall Tiles, Plaster, stone wall cladding & Paint for floor, wall and ceiling finishes. Aluminum glazing for opening finishes, MDF boards for kitchen & bedroom furnishes. Wooden floors for bedroom finishes. Gypsum ceiling for lounge area, kitchen and bedroom ceiling finishes. Granite stone finish for kitchen counters and bathroom sink counters. Natural stone for outdoor floor finish.
