Project Background
The Aljem Residence offers a minimalist yet so eclectic aesthetic for a quirky Brutalist Architecture. We seek to use the architectural program to integrate the living spaces. Minimalism is a strong element for the project concept, through brutalist planes, the use of few materials and well-defined vertical lines that extend the view of the house especially the wood slats. The Living and dining space also opens to the gardens to contemplate the landscape thru operable large windows.
Exterior Renderings
We design the house respecting its environment and using a style that integrates into the surroundings with bare concrete, stone, wood, and glass as the primary materials. Brutalist on the outside yet quirky on the inside.
Upon arriving, you'll come across to wood cladded doorway.
However, as soon as you open the main door you'll find yourselves in a "Dining Hall Entrance".
