The gate of the original LOFT apartment is in the middle of the space, and the stairs are on the right hand side of the entrance, so the space utilization rate is relatively low. The original floor height is 4.76 meters. After layering up and down, the height of the second floor is relatively short. The designer has carried out a new planning and treatment of the space, and realized the owner's yearning for a beautiful residence with a unique design language.

The floor of the living room on the first floor is uniformly made of wooden floor, which is warm and comfortable, and also increases the scalability of the space. The large floor-to-ceiling windows are equipped with blinds to bring sunlight into the room.

All the cabinets and walls are uniformly white, which increases the sense of extension of the space and makes the space more pure and simple.

Warm and bright natural light enters the interior from the outside. Every day, the angle of the sunlight is different, and the angle of the sunlight is also different. Every day has a different mood and feeling.

A macaron-colored lounge chair is placed at the corner of the stairs. On a sunny afternoon, a cup of coffee and a book can spend a lazy and beautiful afternoon.

Abandoning the stereotyped thinking of the traditional dining table, the designer cleverly integrated the "island table + dining table" into a more transparent pattern. The integrated design of dining and kitchen liberates the kitchen space and increases the extensibility of the space.

The second-floor space is divided into two areas, one is a private bedroom area and the other is a leisure area, which combines the leisure area, study room and bedroom. The open space allows better lighting and ventilation. The lighting in the bedroom is set at the end of the bed, which does not affect rest and sleep.

The location of the stairway is designed to be hollowed out to make the space more transparent. A part of the area by the window is raised as a leisure area, and a lazy sofa is placed to enjoy a comfortable time in your spare time.

The position of the stairs is designed to be empty, the traditional sofa form is canceled, and the form of the combination of the platform and the stair steps forms a bright spot of the space.

Project Background

"There are so many houses, why doesn't one belong to me?" This scene that appears in countless movie plots is also the real scene of most young people living in big cities. The protagonist of this case is also one of them. Fortunately, the heroine is naturally optimistic, and she realized her desire to take root in a big city through hard work in her thirties. Although the house is not big, it must be the warmest place. With love for life, our dreams come true in the warm winter.
