This case is a typical horizontal hall apartment. The original entrance area is the dining room, and the living room is next to the bay window. The transitional area between the kitchen and the guest bathroom is a bit wasteful; the long and narrow corridor has poor lighting, and the window of the study is close to the opposite gable wall, so the problem of lighting in the study needs to be solved;

Design Strategy:
1. Break the original pattern of guest and restaurant, and use the dining table as the center of the space to create a traveling circulation.
2. Weaken the sense of presence of the TV, integrate the shoe cabinet and the TV cabinet, and increase the variation in the vertical space.
3. Remove the partition wall between the original kitchen and the living room, and expand the operating range of the kitchen to meet the space of the island.
The treatment of the entire TV wall is relatively simple, without complicated decorative items. The TV cabinet adopts a wall-mounted suspension type, and the top is a wall cabinet that does not reach the top. The TV cabinet and the wall cabinet neither reach the floor nor reach the top, forming a sense of height and height with the cabinet from the left to the top, making the entire wall full of variability.
The main consideration of the entrance area is functionality. On the left is a full-wall shoe cabinet and an open clothes hanging area. What is different from the traditional hanging clothes area is that we use horizontal hangers to ensure that the clothes are clean and tidy. The right side is based on the characteristics of the original wall. White, to avoid too crowded space.

In order to ensure enough space for the children's activity area, the range of the living room is reduced as much as possible, and the distance between the sofa and the TV is also the shortest distance on the existing basis. The paintings on the walls are all Japanese Ukiyo-e paintings, which not only decorate the walls, but also point out the overall style.
The dining room is the center of the entire living room, and the layout of the living room area revolves around the dining room. The living room, dining room, and children's play area form a circulation line, and dining and meeting guests are all concentrated in the dining room, so that adults can interact with children without dead ends while eating and chatting.
The kitchen is also simple in design. The walls, countertops, and wall cabinets are all white, and the floor cabinets are made of wood-colored doors. The overall color is clean and simple. Both the secondary bathroom and the main bathroom are equipped with Panasonic toilets, and the antibacterial and deodorizing design is very user-friendly.
