This case uses modern methods to interpret the contemporary national style space. The material is made of slate, metal, glass, combined with warm wood; the color scheme is black and white + log color; the lighting method is designed without main lights. Through the integration of various aspects, a modern national style residence is constructed.

On the opposite side of the entrance is the background of a foyer, and the left and right are respectively connected to the master bedroom and the daughter's room.

The texture of logs gives the space a gentle and simple earth-like feeling. Using log color and white as the TV background wall lays a clean and bright foundation.

A size of 1.1 meters is reserved on the side of the living room. After being elevated, it is made into a wooden platform to create a small independent space. With lighting, it can also create a sense of suspension on the platform. With a tea table and futon, it looks alive and well. A small tea room.

The black slate dining table, matched with the new Chinese-style chairs, is harmonious and exquisite. The glass wine cabinet beside it is embedded with light strips, with rich lighting levels and a full sense of modernity.

Two just-right wooden partitions on the slate background add a touch of interest to the space.

The Changhong glass sliding door in the kitchen is very modern, and the ripples of the vertical bars echo the background of the wooden grille.

The color scheme of the kitchen is white + wood, simple and bright. The gray soft light bricks in the living room are laid directly into the kitchen, and the white quartz stone countertops are wrapped to the lower edge of the window frame, which is beautiful, practical and easy to take care of.

The layout of the remodeled toilet is simplified, with elegant gray tones as a whole, and the suspended design of the bathroom cabinet, which combines design sense and practicality, and reduces sanitary dead ends. The mirror cabinet continues to the top of the toilet, which not only increases the transparency of the space, but also increases the storage function.

Simple and elegant is the charm of Chinese style, simple and lively is the characteristic of modernity, and the two styles are blended.

The master bedroom integrates the spirit of modern life into the Chinese-style structure and vocabulary, penetrates the poetic nature and the environment, and combines silk, flowers and birds with oriental charm to express the yearning for a better life.

The color scheme of dark green, wood and white is like a breeze in the forest in autumn, comfortable and pleasant, full of charm.

Project Background

This is a second-hand house in downtown Shanghai for a family of four. The owner's needs for the home, hope that the home is relaxing, can relieve the fatigue of the day, and enjoy it quietly. At the same time, the owner likes Chinese culture very much, but he doesn't want too much traces. He hopes to use modern style as the carrier to create a contemporary national style space suitable for modern people to live in.
