Project Background
This case is a three-bedroom apartment with north-south transparency. The owner is a couple of immortals. It is very interesting. It is also interesting to talk about the encounter with the owner’s sister. Our wooden box was designed and constructed for the upstairs of her house. Once we constructed When doing a closed water test on site and needing to go downstairs to see if there is any leakage, I met the owner by chance.

Design revamp:
1. Remove the walls of the dining room and the north balcony, make the original kitchen door opening into a shoe cabinet for storage, and open the kitchen door on the side.
2. The wall on the right hand side of the entrance is removed and replaced with a thin wall to make an integrated locker.
3. The door of the elder room is changed to an invisible door to increase the length of the background wall and extend the line of sight.
Interior Renderings
During the communication, I learned that this is the owner's second residence. I would come here occasionally during holidays, but the frequency is not high. The main reason is to create a space effect. For this case, we abandoned the traditional design techniques, broke the definition to reshape the style, used the partition of the cabinet to break the conventional space division, and the operation of super high doors and invisible doors made the overall feeling more open, concise and clear.
The door of the master bedroom is changed to the side of the sofa background wall, which not only realizes the separation of dryness and wetness of the master bathroom, but also separates the end view of the entrance hall. The super-high one-piece cabinet door is simple and elegant. A horizontal board is selected on the right as the end view platform, and simple ornaments are placed on it. Under the background of the lights, the end view of this porch is high-end and layered.
Instead of using traditional TV cabinets in the living room, a row of cabinets is customized to increase storage. It also echoes the invisible door of the elders' room. With the division method of storage aesthetics, an open grid is made next to the invisible door, which can be used to display the owner's travel The souvenirs bought back add a sense of luxury.
The matching of the same color system not only enriches the layers in the space, but also makes the space transparent and bright. There are no bright colors and too many decorations. A fishing lamp, a black chair, and three or two magazines pave the way for the space high-level sense.
The transformation of the kitchen and dining room area has opened up the visual space of the living room and dining room, running through the north and south, greatly enhancing the lighting and ventilation effects of the living room and dining room.
The TV background wall is the entire surface of marble slabs, and the texture of Ascot White is elegant and restrained. The shape of the top surface is also simple. These simple shapes collide in one space, complementing each other and supporting each other.
My favorite is the invisible door on the background wall of the TV. When it is opened, it faces the wardrobe of the elders’ room. A row of slender open grids on the side of the door just embellishes the shape of the facade, making the wall layered and not monotonous. It is perfectly connected with the cabinet, so that every day after living in the owner is a surprise.
The beauty of space is not only manifested by using exaggerated colors and expensive materials. In many cases, it is just the right function and the most simple life-like atmosphere.
The new plan replans the space, removes the partition wall of the dining room, makes the dining room and the living room integrated, forms a north-south transparent space, and improves the ventilation and lighting of the dining room. At the same time, the opening position of the kitchen door is changed, and the single door becomes a glass sliding door. The kitchen has better lighting, higher utilization rate, and a more reasonable moving line with the dining room.
The dark furniture makes the space more open, and the greenery is more vibrant, and the tenderness and freedom of home are fully unfolded. In this small world, don't ask about the wind and rain outside, slow down and let life become life
The one-piece cabinet viewed from the dining table has rich lighting, and the combination of different materials is also elegant and unique. In a space with a stronger sense of interaction, you can gain companionship, exchange emotions, and enjoy a delicious family life.
The kitchen is spacious and has good lighting. After changing the door opening, the refrigerator is reasonably integrated into the kitchen, and the countertop can be extended, leaving more possibilities for future life. In terms of color, it continues the overall style of the dining room, using gentle brown cabinets, which stand out against the white wall tiles.
The master bedroom uses a minimalist and modern modeling language, and the exciting objects are reflected in the details. The irregular lamp above the bedside table and the exquisite touch given by the leather bed, the morning sun and music dissipate drowsiness together. Although there are distant cities There is a lot of traffic, but the sense of security at home can make people feel calm at any time.
The different feelings of black, white and gray are reflected in a space, which is more mysterious and more peaceful. After returning from get off work, go back to the bedroom and enjoy the beautiful night brought by this tranquility. The black bed and plain bedding are simple and clean, and the line lamps on the bedside table are of appropriate size in the space, and the details meet the preferences of the residents.
Due to the size of the master bedroom, the innermost wardrobe door will be blocked by the bedside table and cannot be opened, so an open compartment is simply made, which does not affect the storage, but also adds a touch of agility to the calm space, enriching the visual sense of the wardrobe . The open compartment and the wardrobe have different colors, are connected to each other, and are independent of each other.
The elder room behind the invisible door is the meeting of orange and khaki, like sweet but not greasy chestnut cream, comfortable and sweet. The collocation of different materials, from curtain fabric to decoration and hanging pictures, is a real comfortable home, calm and exciting.
The bedside paintings use an asymmetrical method to make the space look plump and coordinated. Under the background of the bedside lamp, the whole space is well reflected in the level of point, line and surface. The soft decoration even added orange to make this sleeping space more warm in life.
