"How deep is the courtyard?" According to the structure of the house, the designer cleverly deduces the progressive levels of space in traditional Chinese-style courtyards, from the vestibule of the gate, the entrance hall, to the hall, combining the inside and outside.
Different teak Chinese-style intarsia doors, columns, and caisson ceilings divide the boundaries between spaces, conveying a calm and heavy family style.
The designer takes "flowers blooming and wealth" as the main line to develop a warm, auspicious, and luxuriant vision in the space. The ceiling borrows the shape of a caisson well, and the main background wall uses a small amount of dark teak to set off the theme of "flowers bloom and prosper". The custom-made splash-ink freehand flower carpet on the floor and the hanging paintings of meticulous flowers and birds on the side walls extend and render the theme in a layered manner.
The Ming and Qing armchairs facing each other in pairs are concise in shape and fine in workmanship. Sunlight from the verandah spills into the interior, echoing the large area of whitewashed walls, highlighting the brightness and elegance of the living room.
On the basis of the traditional nave setting, the designer innovated through the old and used traditional architectural components such as beams, flower windows, columns, and caissons to create ceilings and walls, increase the height of the space, and create a scale of bays to make the overall space refined, atmospheric, and Solemn;
Small-leaf red sandalwood Qing-style furniture, finely carved and decorated, are placed on the marble floor with natural texture, showing wealth and elegance.
Enclosing the space in an octagonal shape has a lively sense of form; the two sides introduce natural gardens to face the scene, the outdoor breeze sways, the green shadows dance, the indoor flowers are mottled, "birds jumping on the branches", like a family sitting in a pavilion, chatting happily , and share the relaxed and harmonious beauty of happiness with the world and nature.
