Project Background
The Curve by the Park is an apartment hotel in Kenya's capital city of Nairobi by the Nairobi national park. We designed the main reception to have an African safari feel.
We had to also create a concierge area within the reception space, since most of the guest coming in needed assistance in being advised on the best spots for visits within Nairobi to make their visit more memorable
Within the apartments we created a luxury interior finishes. Clients always want their monies worth so we decided to go full out and used materials and finishes that show and speak of quality living and experience
Floor Plan
The Curve by the park we finalized on the concept of using flowing movements within the space to enhance collaboration and communication within the users of the space
Interior Renderings
The concept was to emphasis African rich textures and finishes by incorporating these elements within the space especially the reception space
Use of leather, and unique and antique pieces ties this concierge space to feel genuinely African and Kenyan at best with the addition of pics frames for the big five
A traditional bike and use of natural materials like sisal ropes to blend this design to feel both modern and African at the same time
The space are spacious and have luxurious finishes to give the feel of modernity and African elements within the same space
