Project Background
The customer of this project is a young mother with two daughters, aged 11 and 13. This is a friendly family, they spend a lot of time together: they do exercises in the morning, go in for sports, cook, do each other's hair. In the new apartment, it was necessary to think over three sleeping places, working areas for girls, a large storage area, a comfortable kitchen, and a table for makeup and hairstyles. The living room was divided into several zones: a space for girls with a bunk bed and a large wardrobe, a work area, a sofa area (mother's bed) with a TV, a kitchen-dining room area. In such a room, you can freely communicate with those who are in the kitchen, watch TV or listen to music from anywhere in the room. And if you need to concentrate and retire, there is an isolated balcony with a work desk for this.
Interior Renderings
Japandy is characterized by the use of muted natural colors, an abundance of textures of natural materials (wood, stone, fabric). Handmade decor made of clay, rattan, straw is often used. As the basis of the interior, I used a combination of white with wood texture. White color visually expands the space of a small apartment, and wood adds coziness and warmth to the interior. In the decor, I used a lot of plants, both fresh and dried flowers, and various clay vases.
