Project Background
Our project included designing a house for a client from Kashan, Iran, which had a traditional approach. He wanted a house that was a combination of modern and traditional Iranian design and architecture with a focus on the traditional elements of Kashan. Some of the arches and columns we designed were inspired by his grandfather's house. In addition, we were inspired by an amusement park in the neighborhood that had borderless surfaces that slide on top of each other.
