Project Background
A simple classic modern design style with a contemporary interior character is the main design idea for the residence. Since it was intended to build three storey building a wider and open frontage was considered to get the sense of the entire building from the ground.
So the first major design consideration is starting the building boundary with a setback of 9 -10m from the front fence and dedicating it for parking and green space, which could also be used as an outdoor dining area.
For the house to maintain its quality of space regardless of the adjacent neighboring buildings, the front green space and the setback from all sides, play a great role. The set back on the sides are also very functional, connecting the parking and green space directly to the service quarters without interrupting
the interior functions.
Also considering natural sun orientation, the front side of the house is mostly treated with Aluminum framed glass walls to have more lights to the interior space. And adds to the spatial quality by connecting
it visually with the wide outdoor green area. The setbacks on the sides also play a great role in lighting and ventilating the interior spaces.
The classical details and floor planters are also used vertically on the exterior facade to give it grace and elegance to the residence.
