Fathima Naflaa Mohammed Fahim

A Chartered Architect by profession and a graduate with a Masters in Architecture and Environmental Design from the University of West of England Bristol and the City School of Architecture Sri Lanka. The passion and enthusiasm of designing spaces creatively has molded me to take every design project as a new challenge, looking out to experiment with techniques, materials and methodologies to creatively formulate solutions at studio and the field. With 10 years of being inspired and trained by , whilst handling projects of varying typologies with some inspirational mentors which has equipped me to enjoy, learn and grow at every step of this journey whilst seeing through a design from its conceptual inception to its completion of construction. I have participated in local and international con- ceptual architecture and interior design competi- tions and has been shortlisted at a few forums. Always played an active role in organizing events for school,City school of Architecture and SLIA.This too has grown out to be an activity of enriching myself through team spirit and humblness and un- derstanding that together we are strong and could achieve the impossible.This skills of leadership has enhanced my professional career and allowed me to get the best end products whilst working with the allied professsionals. I firmly believe that you never stop learning till you die, especially in a field such as architecture the evolution is ultra rapid, Hence through my experience of voluntarily tutoring and teaching as an understudy at CSA I believe teaching refreshes reinstates, and revives the spark through timely research in such subject areas. I further aspire to give back to the society and country through education and creative works of standard and quality.
