I'm Sabaahat Iqbal, a graduate architect dedicated to creating spaces that blend functionality with creativity. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovative design, I strive to bring my clients' visions to life while ensuring that each project reflects their unique needs and aspirations. From conceptualization to execution, I approach every endeavor with a commitment to excellence, aiming to craft environments that inspire, uplift, and stand the test of time. Architecture as a career or a profession goes beyond blueprints and conceptualizations, extending to a point where it can affect a person’s perspective and way of life in a society that is always evolving. The spaces we design define us as designers, both in the creative world and in real life, with the conviction of giving back to society and preserving architectural heritage. As the creative mind changes to respond to contemporary societal concerns, it is also a technique of self-discovery. My knowledge is negligible in relation to my future aims and professional objectives. My home country, Kenya, particularly the metropolis Nairobi, has experienced tremendous urbanization. This may appear to be an advantage, but the city is growing faster than it can manage, causing severe challenges with infrastructure and services. If current trends continue, metropolitan regions will account for 70% of world energy use. As a result, I intend to focus my research on this topic, using the knowledge gained from my work experience to build a sustainable intervention plan within the city and impact architectural outlooks in my hometown.
