Design Description:
Provincial Hospital(Papua New Guinea) is in the process of procuring of prefab of Histopathology Lab and cancer clinic buildings as part of cancer screening and diagnosis project-SiPHA. according to the attached designs and specifications below. Histopathology lab Average 70-72m2, see attached design(7-7.2mX10-10.2m) The building will have the following: 1-Storage to adapt: • One fridge: 1800*800*1900mm * • 3 floors stand Slides and paraffin block cabinets, each one is composed of 3 parts measures 515*480*1510 mm on top of each other. • The remains of the store should have storage cabinets all around hight of 80cm and higher shelves 2- Locker for the staff Toilet, sink and shower attached to the locker 3- Doctors reporting office to adapt: disc, side cabinets to adapt 2 digital microscopes and one slide scanner on top, one ordinary sink. 4- tea room Main lab: adapt all the histopathology lab equipments which will be Ergonomically: 1. Samples collection and record area window and bench 2. Grossing machine should have hood on top-floor stand 3. Cryostat -floor stand 4. Tissue processor- floor stand 5. embedding centers - on bench 6. Microtome- on bench 7. water bathe on bench 8. slide dryer (Hot plate)- on bench 9. slide staining and cover slip machine- on bench
