Project update 13/03/24 It has been decided locally that the project will classed as a luxury 5 star boutique hotel consisting of 50 rooms There will be a wellness centre Conferencing facility And the usual eating abd drinking areas This development will have a maximum height of 3 levels. Please note that this is not a resort hotel and any interested must have proven track record in the design of boutique hotels All interested parties to send external visual impression of the hotel encompassing the previous design brief which was Scandinavian and a marine. It would be good to actually visualise one of these features on the exterior we will respond via email no whstsapp contacts. Please note on the high profile of this project and to meet local expectations then the winner of the best concept design will automatically get to do the additional work Thank you all very kindly /Need the design for the 5-star hotel .The totally land is 9hectares land. So you don’t need to worry about the hotel’s floor space, need architectural design planning. Location close to the seaside. 1. Looking for a Scandinavian style hotel looking for initially 2 options. Opinion one is a boutique style perhaps for 50 bedrooms Option two is for the rooms to be increased to perhaps 100-150.(a larger style 140 rooms we are also looking at self contained chalets) The themes of the development is based upon famous explorer Ernest Shackleton and innovator Robert Louis Stephenson who built the lighthouses in shetlsnd and also wrote several novels on pirates and smugglers If you are interested, please contact me by email, thank you It might be best to note that the structure cannot be more higher that two levels The location of the projrcts will be on the shetland islands approximately 15 miles from the capital which is Lerwick. I would stringly recommend that you use google maps so you get a better Idea on the challanges. This is a basically a cold climate. As per the overview on the site looking for the successful grip to become part of a something that will be very unique and will be working tottaly of grid abd will have a carbon neutral design. The theme of the project which will consist of a hotel conference centre a distillery wellness centre the theme of the whole project will be based upon a marine theme and will celebrate famous explorers such as Ernest Shackleton. Will use smuggling lighthouses and sailing ships to remember times gone by.
