Hello, we're planning to build a commercial complex building in Nigeria.
The project is an ultra luxury mixed use development located beside St. James Catholic Church, Trans Amadi, Nkpogu, port Harcourt city, Port Harcourt local government which is the commercial and industrial city of Rivers state, it will reveal an iconic 18-storey Tower Creekside Yacht Club which will be a commercial and tourism hub.
Other ancillery infrastructures in the project are; Eco center that will serve as the nerve center for power, water supply and treatment plant, central solid waste and sewage collection and treatment plant, central liquidified petroleum gas supply to every home, broadband Internet connectivity and PABX, security surveillance, fire service station, outdoor recreational park.
Breathe Yacht Club is an Architecture based on volumes inspired by the ever-changing surface of the Creek tide with a captivating free flowing structure that aims to create a one of a kind meeting point between land and sea, interconnected by walkways and bridges.
We present an architectural project for a luxury yacht club. Carefully designed, the complex blends refinement and closeness to nature in a setting of opulence with all sorts of amenities to boost tourism. The clubhouse has the necessary infrastructure for all kinds of celebrations, be it a wedding, a conference, a corporate retreat, games or other events. The magic of this yacht club project is that it offers synergies between the magnificent panoramic Creek views and the leisure facilities such as mall (stores and pharmacy), restaurants, suspended swimming pool, indoor basketball court, indoor squash court, movie theaters, short-stay inns, gym, disco club lounge, 7D hologram display, offices, children play area, spa, 3 levels of car parking with AI aided parking and helipad. Its architecture is a reflection of an active lifestyle.
Our inspirations are drawn from mankind’s relationship with the sea and maritime history and from periwinkle sheel standing on the edge of the creekside which is commonly found on Creek shores of South South region of Nigeria. This nautical edge will ensure the building sits seamlessly within the Creek as a central hub and focal point.
BREATHE GARDEN offers an unparalleled opportunity to shape a new tourism destination, and a new home for yachting on the Creek of port Harcourt. It will be interesting to be involved in this iconic yacht club, which will be a centrepiece for the Creek and set to evolve guest experience,”
The building is composed of various architectural structures with forms inspired by the ever-changing water surface. With no apparent geometrical rationale, these structures are interconnected by walkways and bridges that cross the space and bridge the discontinuities. In addition to the contrast between the different volumes that make up the building, it is worth highlighting the measured and efficient use of different materials, including glass.
Finally, extensive landscaped areas are distributed around the Yacht clubhouse and the Creek. The Yacht club is a building as exclusive as it is singular in its design.
Arrival is a key moment for guests by land or by water, with the entrance set within an arch that forms a shaded plaza and frames dramatic views to the Creek. The area has a mirrored vaulted ceiling over a star-lit floor which creates an alternative night sky for guests in the evening.
The interior of the club, along with the landscaping detail, is as visually stimulating as the exterior, with unparalleled attention to detail to ensure guests remain connected to the landscapes around them. Utilising local materials with a focus on stone, timber and metals, and embracing a luxurious, yet authentic brass champagne colour scheme, the lounges and restaurant blend seamlessly together with an infinity loop-like shape throughout.
