Microthin Stone Translucent Panel

Microthin Stone Translucent Panel is an engineered stone panel, it is laminated by ultra thin natural stone layer and low iron glass(tempered) followed by hot-melt processing method, mainly for exterior applications.  With PVB and EVA interlayer , thin stone layer would be permanently bonded to one or two glass substrates, meanwhile the UV would be filtered to keep the original color and pattern of stone in long time run for exterior.  When stone milled to a few millimeters, it becomes magnificently translucent material, even dark or black stone color, giving a new pattern of stone through light.

The glass would be low iron glass to have  high light transmittance in order to show the natural beauty of stone.  There are different structure of stone and glass, such like two layers of glass with thin stone veneer inside, or sealed insulated glass as front layer to sandwitch structure etc. These panels can be easily installed in the hidden frame supported glass curtain wall, bright frame glass curtain wall and point-supported glass curtain wall system.

Also it can be used for furniture and interior decoration. 

Thickness

The thickness is the key to Microthin Stone Translucent Panel, it gives different level of light transmittance to panel to have different patterns when light go through from back.

 Weight

As the thickness of stone is from 1mm to 5mm, so the additioanl weight of stone would  be 3kg/sqm to 15kgs/sqm more to original  glass curtain wall system, the thickness would be designed as per to the specification of wall system.
