Special cables for photovoltaic power generation have the following characteristics:
Good weather resistance:

UV resistance: Many cables in photovoltaic power stations are laid bare and need to withstand the ultraviolet radiation in sunlight for a long time. The insulation and sheath materials of special photovoltaic cables are special and can effectively resist the erosion of ultraviolet rays, prevent the cable from aging and embrittlement due to ultraviolet radiation, and ensure long-term normal operation under the vertical radiation of sunlight and ultraviolet rays.

High temperature resistance: During normal operation, photovoltaic modules will generate heat, which will increase the ambient temperature. Especially in hot weather, the ambient temperature where the cable is located may be relatively high. Special photovoltaic cables can maintain stable performance at higher temperatures. Generally, the maximum continuous operating temperature allowed for conductors during normal use can reach 120 °C.

Cold resistance: In some cold regions, the temperature in winter is extremely low. Cables need to have good cold resistance performance to maintain flexibility in low temperature environments and not cause problems such as breakage. Usually, the adaptable ambient temperature can be as low as -40 °C.

Excellent electrical performance:

High insulation performance: The voltage of photovoltaic systems is relatively high. Cables need to have good insulation performance to prevent faults and accidents caused by problems such as electrical breakdown of cables and ensure the safe and stable operation of the system.

Low DC resistance: It is beneficial to reduce the loss of electric energy during transmission and improve the transmission efficiency of electric energy to ensure that the electric energy generated by photovoltaic modules can be efficiently transmitted to equipment such as inverters.
