Non-combustibility: Rock wool belongs to inorganic silicate fibers and is itself non-combustible. It is a Class A non-combustible material that can effectively prevent the spread of fire, buying time for the evacuation of people and fire rescue, and greatly enhancing the fire safety of buildings.
Long Fire Resistance Duration: The fire resistance duration of rock wool sandwich color steel plates varies with different thicknesses. For example, a 100mm-thick rock wool sandwich color steel plate can meet the fire resistance requirement of 120 minutes, a 150mm-thick one can meet the requirement of 3 hours, and the longest can achieve a fire resistance of 4 hours.

Low Thermal Conductivity: The thermal conductivity of rock wool is approximately 0.043 W/m·K. When used as a core material, it can effectively reduce heat transfer, keeping the indoor temperature relatively stable, reducing the energy consumption of buildings, and improving energy utilization efficiency. It is suitable for places with high requirements for thermal insulation, such as cold storages, industrial plants, and office buildings.

Significant Sound Absorption and Insulation Effects
Sound Absorption by Porous Structure: Rock wool has a porous structure.
