Kinglong Lighting Co., Ltd. was founded in 1993 with registered capital of 50 million RMB. The company occupies a 200,000-square-meter plant with more than 1,200 employees and over 400 management and research elites. Kinglong is the first modern lighting company whose products are exempted from inspection for export in China. It has gained dozens of qualifications and honorary titles, such as “National High-tech Enterprise”, “Famous Trademark in Guangdong”, “Famous-brand Product in Guangdong”, “Famous Exported Brand in Guangdong”, “Competitive Enterprise with Intellectual Property Advantages in Guangdong”, “Innovation Industrialization Demonstration Base for Small- and Medium-size Enterprises in Guangdong”, “Top 100 Enterprises in Zhongshan City”, and so on. In 2013, “Kinglong Informationalization Upgrading Project” was selected to be among the “Four Hundreds” demonstration project for integration of informationalization and industrialization in Guangdong, and Kinglong became the model of digital transforming of production processes of industrial enterprises in Guangdong province. In 2007, Kinglong invested nearly ten million yuan to establish a 2,000-square-meter independent and functionally complete lighting test center which met the requirements of the laboratory of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, CNAS. In January, 2010, Kinglong was crowned as the first lighting enterprise that won both “Best Design for Fixed Luminaire” and “British Lighting Design of the Year” awards at the same time in the history of the British Birmingham International Lighting Fair. The company has registered the trademark of “Kinglong” in EU, USA, Japan, Turkey and other nations and regions in order to strengthen the building of independently developed brands.
